A ground up re-brand of Visit Cheshire,
the official tourist board for Cheshire,
a bold new visual identity for
the county I call home.
Visit Cheshire

The logo for the new Visit Cheshire was inspired by both the regions rich history but also it's future, with clean bold lines and shapes inspired by the many gothic architectural features of the county churches and cathedrals.
Specifically the icon took its shape from the cloister windows found in many of its cathedrals, and making the logo more than just a mark, but a symbol of the past with the promise of the future.

The Visit Cheshire brand had its start in our national campaign which I designed to create a dynamic shift between the heritage city of Chester and the many possibilities available in the nearby area.
The City A Break campaign was featured in tube stations in London, generating both visitors to the site but also positive press and pr coverage for the city.

The new Visit Cheshire identity, along with new typography that reflects it's modern heritage is now being used across digital and print including the new What's on Guide; a quarterly guide to Cheshire's events and activities. It has been one of my main recurring projects in my time with Marketing Cheshire and allows me the opportunity to work on both layout and illustration of the Chester and Cheshire visitor maps.

Creating a fresh brand for Food on Fire,
Hog Roast catering with a modern feel, complete with website, badges & icons,
to support a vibrant identity.
Marketing Cheshire

Food on Fire is wedding catering with a twist, a Hog Roast cooked on a traditional sit, flames and all!
To stand out in the event catering market I created a bold identity highlighting the unique nature of this spectacle of cooking. Complete with brand new website and concepts for pushing brand assets through packaging, apparel and even its very own food truck, Food on Fire is here to redefine "traditional" hog roasts for good.

Redefining outdoor luxury with
handcrafted traditional garden paving
made by artisans of stone
Westminster Stone

I was initially brought on to work with Westminster Stone to develop a new product brochure, the edition they had been distributing was out of date and was not promoting the brand to the right demographic.
I sought to change that by creating a more coffee table book for the brand, combining product catalogue pages alongside editorial styled case studies and informative guides.

We carried this elevated design approach through various print projects and email marketing with e-shots featuring further case studies, customer highlights and themed collections.

I also facilitated in the complete re-design of the company website, creating initial stage mockups an working with a web design agency to bring the brands vision to life.
